Use the same six questions every time
A consistent scorecard reduces the influence of packaging and trend language. It also helps you notice when a brand provides lots of promises but few practical details.
- Identity: Which specific peptide ingredients are declared?
- Formula: What else is included, and does it suit your skin?
- Evidence: Is support ingredient-level or finished-product testing?
- Packaging: Is it hygienic, closable, and practical to use?
- Fit: Does it duplicate or complicate your current routine?
- Value: What is the price per ounce or milliliter, excluding temporary discounts?
Do not reward meaningless complexity
A longer ingredient list is not automatically better. Neither is a higher peptide count if the formula, stability, or evidence is unclear. Conversely, a short list does not prove potency or gentleness. Use the list to understand the product, not to award points for length.
Make price the final filter
First eliminate products that do not disclose enough information or do not suit your routine. Then compare cost using the actual package volume. Subscription prices, bundles, and gifts can distort comparisons, so record the ordinary one-time price as well.
Our future product links may earn a commission, but that relationship will be labeled and will not change this scorecard.
